Brook D. Barefoot

Director - Multifamily Investments

Mr. Barefoot is responsible for sourcing and underwriting the acquisitions for Sarofim's Multifamily Fund I and Fund II.  He has over twelve years of experience in many facets of commercial real estate development. He has designed plans, prepared cost estimates, coordinated site development and construction activity for a number of projects including single family, multifamily, office and industrial.  Brook started at Sarofim in 2005 as Senior Investment Manager and was promoted in 2008 to Director of Multifamily Investments. 

Brook's prior experience includes positions with Echelon Residential LLC and a public REIT, which have given him a strong analytical background for evaluating economic markets and trends as they relate to the multifamily projects he underwrites.

Brook graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.
