David P. Evemy, MA, ARICS

Senior Vice President – Strategic Planning and Research

Mr. Evemy is responsible for the firm's strategic planning and research. He has twenty-seven years experience in both national and international aspects of real estate, with emphasis on building value and creating profit for his clients. David is a member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Sarofim Realty Advisors in 2000, David served as President of Jamison Research, Inc. from 1993 to 1999, where he was responsible for all financial and operational aspects of the corporation. While at Jamison, he represented the financial interests of some of the largest pension fund and REIT clients in the world. After Jamison was sold to CoStar Group in 1999, he was responsible for potential expansion plans into Europe. His career also includes positions with Beazer Realty from 1987 to 1992 and Matthews & Goodman (London and Dallas) from 1981 to 1987. He is an established speaker on real estate issues, addressing such national conferences as NAREIT and NAIOP.

David is a 1981 graduate of Cambridge University where he received his Master of Arts in Real Estate. He is a professional associate of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, a board member of the National Multi Housing Council, and a member of The Real Estate Council, Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Pension Real Estate Association.  He has previously served on the boards of NAIOP and The Real Estate Council.
