David P. Evemy, MRICS

Senior Vice President – Strategic Planning and Research

Mr. Evemy is SVP of Strategic Planning and Research at Sarofim. He leads the research staff in the review and analysis of economic trends relating to and affecting real estate. David and his team work closely with the Investment Committee and portfolio managers to review and develop new strategies as well as to look at geographic data and trends relating to new and existing properties. David is a member of the Investment Committee.

Before joining Sarofim in 2000, David was President of Jamison Research and assisted in the transition and expansion of the firm after its purchase by CoStar Group. He has over twenty-seven years of experience in both national and international real estate markets including prior positions with Beazer Realty and Matthews & Goodman.

David is a graduate of Cambridge University where he received his Master of Arts in Real Estate. He is a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is on the advisory board of the Real Estate Research Institute. David is currently a member of ULI, PREA, the Texas Real Estate Council, and ICSC. He was previously a board member of NMHC, NAIOP, and the Texas Real Estate Council.
