Simon J. Honeybone

Vice President - Retail Investments

Mr. Honeybone is responsible for sourcing new acquisitions and joint ventures of retail properties. Additionally, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the due diligence process for retail acquisitions. Simon has over ten years of real estate experience in acquisition and asset management of retail and office properties throughout the United States. Simon started at Sarofim in 2004 as Senior Acquisitions Associate and was promoted in 2008 to Vice President of Retail Investments.

Prior to joining Sarofim Realty Advisors in 2004, Simon was Director of Asset Management for Federal Realty Investment Trust where he oversaw a portfolio of 34 properties valued at more than $450 million.  Previously, Simon was Vice President for Crow Holdings, the real estate investment office of the Trammell Crow family.

Simon is a 1999 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he earned a degree in Economics.  Simon is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
